EFMP provides assistance to eligible family members of active duty Soldiers, DA Civilians, Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserves. The Army defines an “EFM” as any family member, regardless of age, who has a disability that limits the individual’s ability to function on a daily basis and requires ongoing counseling, training, education, therapy, or treatment.

Contact your EFMP Manager if …
1. You would like more information about the Exceptional Family Member Program and enrollment procedures.
2. You are new to USMA and have a family member with special needs.
3. You are concerned about your preschooler and wish to arrange for a developmental screening to check vision, hearing, speech, learning, and movement.
4. You would like information about services in the local area or would like to connect with other families.
5. You are aware of a special-needs family member in the community who may not be receiving appropriate services.
6. You will be relocating and want to ensure the availability of the services you need when you arrive at your next duty station.
7. You need information or assistance regarding the accessibility of programs or facilities.
8. You need information or assistance regarding reassignment or housing as it relates to special needs.


FMWR  facilities are for eligible personnel only.
Active duty and retired military personnel, Air National Guard and Reserve personnel, family members of the above, DoD and retired civilian employees, and cadets are eligible to use FMWR facilities. Proper identification may be requested by staff.
