Art & Craft Classes

West Point Arts & Crafts offers a variety of craft classes each month during the year. Classes range from matting and framing, stained glass. We are willing to work with any group or organization, Please call 938-4812 to make arrangements.

Available now at the Multi-Craft Shop! The West Point Multi-Crafts Shop offers custom framing for all your needs. We have a large stock of frames on hand. We also accommodate special orders. Prices are very competitive, and the quality of work is exceptional.  Attend one of our Do-It-Yourself classes. Call us for more information at 938-4812. Class Descriptions

  

MATTING & FRAMING- Learn how easy and inexpensive it is to mat and frame your own pictures, prints and needle point. You can do-it-yourself for a fraction of the cost.

 

ADVANCED MATTING- Learn filleting, decorative matting and other techniques. In framing, filleting is a slender framing strip that accents the mat. It is literally a "frame within a frame." Join us and learn these excellent techniques! This is a one-session class.

 

CREATIVE MATTING- Workshops available by appointment.

 

STAINED GLASS INTRODUCTION- Learn glass cutting, copper foiling and soldering. Create a panel using the copper foiling method. This is a six-session class.

 

MOROVIAN STARS- Use beveled glass to make 3-D stars.

 

FMWR facilities are for eligible personnel only.
Active duty and retired military personnel, Air National Guard and Reserve personnel, family members of the above, DoD and retired civilian employees, and cadets are eligible to use FMWR facilities. Proper identification may be requested by staff.
