- CDC: The full-day program includes center-based services that meet the needs of working parents requiring child care services five through eleven hours per day for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years on a regularly, scheduled basis. Fees are based on total family income. (938-4798)

HOURLY CARE: The drop-in/intermittent hourly care program includes center-based developmental child care that meet the needs of parents requiring short term child care on an intermittent basis. These spaces will not be filled by full-day overflow or patrons requiring services on a regular basis. The combined usage of part-day preschool and hourly care may not exceed 24 hours per week. Fees for hourly care are $4 per hour per child. (938-4523)

PART-DAY PRESCHOOL: Includes center-based developmental child care that meet the needs of parents requiring care for children three to five years old on a regularly scheduled part-day, seasonal basis. The combine usage of part-day preschool and hourly care may not exceed 24 hours per week. (938-4458)
Hours of operation: 9 –11:30am (Mon, Wed, and Friday) 9 –11:30am (Tuesday and Thursday) 12:30-2:30pm (Monday-Thursady)
FAMILY CHILD CARE (FCC): Includes child care for those children best served within a small group or home setting. FCC homes offer a full range of hourly, full-day, and part-day care. These homes are of particular value to sponsors whose hours exceed those of center-based programs. FCC providers are private contractors certified and monitored by CDS. Because FCC providers are private contractors, they may develop some of their own policies/procedures which should be contained in a written contract. Provider referrals are made through the Outreach Services office (938-4458) in building 1207. Contact the Director’s office at 938-6170, if interested in becoming a FCC provider.
OUTREACH SERVICES (OS): Provides centralized enrollment and waiting lists for all child, youth and teen programs, resource/referral for child care on and off post, teen baby-sitter training, extended hours care, special center openings and Short-Term Alternate Child Care (STACC) at approved sites other than the CDC, when groups cannot be accommodated in the CDC. Contact the Director’s office at (938-3921) for further information. Call the OS office at 938-4458 to make an appointment for registration.

FAMILY CHILD CARE (FCC) TRAINING will be
offered for family members interested in
providing child care and who are living in government quarters at West
Point. The training will be for those who will provide general
child care for all ages of children and especially for those willing
to provide care for children who are:

- Infants (4 weeks to 12 months) requiring
full-day care during the hours of 6am-5:30pm
- Infants through 12 years of age who need care for "extended"
hours, i.e. other than 6am-5:30pm
- Children who are mildly ill children with special needs.

- Training classes will mainly be
scheduled during morning hours (and possibly one evening) over a
two-week period. Please contact the FCC Director's Office at 938-6170 to sign up and receive the initial orientation information.
