Location/Access: Cranberry Pond is located in the southeast section of the reservation in Training Area D4. Access to the area is restricted by a locked gate (#78) on FB 1. FB 1, the access road to the pond which leads off of Mine Torne Road, is rough and difficult for most POVs. During range operations, Cranberry Pond is off-limits.

Fishing: Light. Cranberry is very popular for ice-fishing, although deep snows can make for a long hike in from Mine Torne Road.

Species Composition: LARGEMOUTH BASS, BLACK CRAPPIE, bluegill, yellow perch, pumpkinseed, brown bullhead, American eel, and chain pickerel.

SPECIAL NOTE: Only one 15+" bass may be kept per day.

Active duty and retired military personnel, Air National Guard and Reserve personnel, family members of the above, DoD and retired civilian employees, and cadets are eligible to use MWR facilities. Proper identification may be requested by staff.
