[Outdoor Recreation] [Angler's Guide]

Location/Access: Lusk Reservoir is located in the eastern section of the reservation adjacent to Michie Stadium on the Main Post. Access to the reservoir is excellent.

Fishing: Heavy in April. Light the remainder of the season.

Species Composition: RAINBOW TROUT, BROWN TROUT, BROOK TROUT, alewife, channel catfish, carp, white sucker, chain pickerel, redbreast sunfish, bluegill, pumpkinseed, yellow perch, and largemouth bass.

Stocking: Stocked with 300-600 eight to sixteen inch trout each spring.

Special Note:

1. Only open for fishing from, 1 April to 30 November.
2. No motors are permitted. Car-top boats and canoes only.

MWR facilities are for eligible personnel only.
Active duty and retired military personnel, Air National Guard and Reserve personnel, family members of the above, DoD and retired civilian employees, and cadets are eligible to use MWR facilities. Proper identification may be requested by staff.
