Location/Access: Mine Lake is located in the south central section of the reservation between Training Areas W and T1 and across from the entrance of Camp Buckner on Route 293. Access to the lake is excellent throughout the year. Easy winter access makes the area popular with ice anglers.

Fishing: Heavy. Boat access is most easily accomplished near the entrance to Training Area W.

Species Composition: Yellow bullhead, brown bullhead, channel catfish, white sucker, golden shiner, CHAIN PICKEREL, bluegill, yellow perch, LARGEMOUTH BASS, black crappie.

Stocking: Approximately 3,500 three-inch channel catfish fingerlings were stocked in 1986. Five hundred 3-inch channel catfish were stocked in 1991. Six hundred 3-inch largemouth bass fingerlings were stocked in 1989. Fifty 6- to 9-inch bass were removed from Wilkins Pond in 1996 and stocked in Mine Lake.

Active duty and retired military personnel, Air National Guard and Reserve personnel, family members of the above, DoD and retired civilian employees, and cadets are eligible to use MWR facilities. Proper identification may be requested by staff.
