Insurance/ Financial Service Solicitation
 
In accordance with Army Regulation 210-7; Commercial Solicitation on Army Installations an application must be submitted by companies to solicit the sale of insurance or financial services on military installations in the U.S., its territories, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

Once you receive your approval, solicitation may be conducted by prior appointment during authorized times and locations. Authorized locations are individual living quarters, Thayer Hotel, and any off-post premises only. No person will be permitted to visit a cadet in the barracks for commercial purposes. 

Advertising Restrictions:
1. Door to door solicitation is prohibited. Noncompliance could lead to revocation of your privileges.
2. The distribution of flyers is prohibited. No placing flyers on car windshields, in mailboxes or between doors, etc.
3. You may not use official communications mediums (e-mail, fax, or government owned bulletin boards) to advertise. Specifically prohibited is the use of the government e-mail system to send uninvited, unsolicited, or spam e-mails.

Applications take approximately 6-8 weeks to process. You will receive a letter of authorization upon approval by the Office of the Garrison Commander.

Approval will be for one year or less. A revalidation must be obtained by submitting an application 30 days prior to your expiration in order to avoid a lapse in your authorization.

You approval letter must be in your possession while doing business on post.


Active duty and retired military personnel, Air National Guard and Reserve personnel, family members of the above, DoD and retired civilian employees, and cadets are eligible to use FMWR facilities. Proper identification may be requested by staff
