Food Hygiene and Quality Assurance Section
- The primary Food Inspection
Office is located in the Commissary Store. Normal hours of operation are
0600 to 1500 Monday - Friday. Food inspectors can be reached by calling
(845) 938-2405 / 7114. The FHQA NCOIC may be reached at (845) 938-3010. In
the event of an emergency outside of normal duty hours, the duty inspector
can be reached at (908) 675-2665.

- As part of the Veterinary Services mission
here at USMA, the FHQA provides inspection services to the Commissary, all
of the dining facilities, AAFEES and MWR food service outlets on post. To
accomplish this, inspection are conducted upon receipt for condition of both
the product and the transport on which it arrives. Procurement of food from
only sanitarily approved suppliers is confirmed at this time. The food is
then monitored by scheduled surveillance inspections until it is consumed or
disposed of.
