We are dedicated to providing support and leisure services that are as outstanding as the people we serve. We as an organization fully embrace the Family and MWR Employee and Customer Covenant. Part of that is through the development of the Employee Recognition Program. This is Your Awards' System!

Many employees feel that the praise and appreciation they are accorded by their peers and co-workers is the most valuable recognition they can receive. The Family and MWR Employee Recognition Program is deigned to give all employees an opportunity to recognize the contributions of their peers.

Each employee pictured has recently been recognized for outstanding service to our Soldiers and their Families. Recognition may have taken the form of Employee of the Month, Exceptional Employee of the Quarter, Catch Me Award, Unsung Hero and Remarkable Leader.  No matter the type of award, each person has demonstrated that they know what it takes to make the West Point quality of life better each and every day!  Our employee’s contributions to the West Point community are highly deserving of the recognition cited in this section.

Employee Of the Month of Mr. Devon Lewis
Mr. Lewis of Outdoor Recreation lead the charge to make sure the behind the scenes arrangements for the annual Polar Fest were all taken care of. He orchestrated efforts to ensure the Ski Lodge was super clean and kept it that way throughout the event. He assisted the various bands to ensure their equipment traveled safely and swiftly from the parking lot to the Ski Lodge and assisted with setting up and tearing down. He was
“Devon on the spot” for multiple tasks required for this huge special event. Mr. Lewis will receive
a $150 cash award and one day time off award for this distinct recognition.

FMWR Facilities are for eligible personnel only.
Active duty and retired military personnel, Air National Guard and Reserve personnel, family members of the above, DoD and retired civilian employees, and cadets are eligible to use MWR facilities. Proper identification may be requested by staff.
